Painting

I paint wildlife with a focus on realism, texture, and personality, especially animals like tigers and turtles. My goal is to create work that feels alive and expressive. I also paint landscapes, primarily through teaching, using wet-on-wet techniques along with layering and glazing to build depth and light. Teaching is an important part of my work, and I enjoy helping others discover that painting is something anyone can learn.

My studio is a working space where you’ll see real paintings in progress alongside finished pieces. It’s not a formal gallery—it’s where the creative process actually happens. I love talking with visitors about painting, techniques, and what goes into each piece.
