Glass

I have long been attracted to glass and the ways artists use it in their work. Fused glass caught my eye because it was so different from the other glass art I was accustomed to seeing. The idea of cutting and arranging glass and then using a kiln to complete the process fascinated me. I took a class and I was hooked. I enjoy seeing the many varieties of glass available to make functional and decorative pieces. Creations can be flat or standing up, clear or opaque. Always something new to try.

I will present my work at the Simms Street Apex Center.

I use a kiln to create Fused Glass Art. I make functional pieces (bowls, plates, vases, platters) as well as decorative pieces (jewelry, clocks, plant stakes, stand up animals and ornaments)
