I focus primarily on mixed media sculpture, particularly the integration of natural found objects with ceramics to evoke emotion along with giving a new life to the found object. Every once in a while I feel the need to create something functional, but that still pulls emotion to the viewer.

Judi splits her time between the Simms Apex center, where she is the head of the ceramics department, and the Burd`s Nest Gallery, which she owns and manages. This year she will present her artwork for the tour at the Burd`s Nest Gallery.

Primarily non-functional mixed media sculpture with the majority of the piece being ceramics.
